The private investigations industry historically has been shrouded in mystery. An enormous amount of its image has been created by cinematographic and fiction novels which depict the private investigator in a distorted representation. This does not diminish the acute position occupied by such professionals for sometimes ''Fact is stranger than Fiction''. However, there is a markedly different modus operandi administered in the real world.
The mythology paradoxically has elements of truth. Private investigative services rendering requires covert and clandestine protocols in many cases to be effective. However, unlike the fictional counterparts there are laws to uphold and accountability for actions. The modern day private investigator combines the elements of the mythological predecessor gumshoe with the advances in technology and business acumen to deliver exceptional services.
